About us:
The Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI) department within the Chief Information Officer's (CIO) Division is responsible for the development, maintenance and effectiveness of the core administrative management and student systems at the U of T.
Your opportunity:
Under the general direction of the Manager, SIS Core System Products, you will help define and develop a modernized Student Information Services delivery model. You will analyze, define and deliver Business Architecture artifacts that will streamline the University's Student Information Services.
Your responsibilities will include: Developing and updating a business architectural framework for university-wide IT systems.Reconciling business requirements with information architecture needs.Researching, analyzing and recommending changes to system features.Conducting needs assessments for future state architecture.Analyzing and recommending suitability of new software systems.Leading and contributing to enterprise IT projects.Providing detailed information on system specifications to clients.Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum 8 years of experience in business and technical analysis.At least 2 years' experience in a business architecture role.Completed or working towards a Business Architect Certification (CBA).Strong analytical skills and experience with enterprise-wide projects.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Assets (Nonessential): Experience as a Business Architect or Senior Business Analyst in a higher education institution.Experience using ArchiMate.To be successful in this role you will be: Motivated self-learner.Multi-tasker.Organized.Self-directed.Closing Date: 09/06/2024, 11:59PM ET
