Job Duties: The Business Analyst (Power BI) will be responsible for analysing data using Power BI to provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes within the Logistics, Procurement, Distribution, and Supply Chain industries. Duties include gathering and interpreting data, creating reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive decision-making.
Required Experience: - Proven experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in data visualisation techniques
- Understanding of Logistics, Procurement, Distribution, and Supply Chain processes
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with a focus on using Power BI for data analysis and reporting
Knowledge and Skills: - In-depth knowledge of Power BI tools and features*
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with SQL and databases
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
- Project management skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in Power BI - Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
Working Conditions: This role is based in Johannesburg and may require occasional travel to client sites. The Business Analyst will work full-time hours on a 6 months contract basis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions in the Logistics, Procurement, Distribution, and Supply Chain sectors.-
