Job OverviewConduct analysis of digital channel business needs in an agile fashion to provide software application solutions focused on delivering business value for the Transactional Banking business.Experience and Qualifications5+ years' experience as a business analyst, preferably in the digital banking arena - either in App, Web or USSD solution development and support.Experience and sound knowledge of Agile methodologies and continuous delivery models.IIBA membership (preferred).Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification (preferred).Responsibilities and Work OutputsIdentifying, investigating, and analysing problems faced by the business from a channel perspective, proposing solutions that improve customer experience and engagement, ultimately supporting business growth.Keeping up to date on market changes and internal system developments related to digital banking across USSD, mobile apps, and web.Gathering requirements and solution design through conducting requirement sessions (JAD), workshops, interviews, and reviewing existing documentation.Developing and documenting detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications in line with standards.Working as part of and providing guidance to a squad of technical specialists under the Agile framework.Leading requirement grooming sessions with confidence.Writing user stories considering best practice scrum and broader Agile principles.Critically evaluating channel processes and digital features to establish time, revenue, and cost parameters, making innovative recommendations that positively impact the business and grow profitability.Assisting in identifying risks and issues pertaining to the implementation of the solution requirements.Modelling data requirements to support the new solution on a functional level.Identifying and analysing deficiencies and proposing effective solutions.Investigating and proposing process optimization opportunities in the context of best practices and improved operational efficiency.
