This position will work closely with the D&T and D&A teams to act as key business support on developing & maintenance of financial planning tools.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial valuation of Annual Plan based on S&OP volumes.Monthly ROFO financial valuation based on S&OP volumes.Annual financial valuation of Strategic plan.Profitability analysis on data to explain monthly trends due to input adjustments.Assist business with financial modelling and profitability analysis against plan.Prepare functional specifications for any financial planning system development requirements.Quality assures financial planning systems configuration and development, key business partner to D&A and ICT teams.Perform user support by diagnosing and resolving system problems.Key contact for ongoing financial planning system improvement and administration.Collaborate with BI team to design and document solutions.Research new technology and functionality of existing systems.Collaborate with broader finance team on business process & system improvement opportunities.Experience & EducationCompleted BCom Accounting or relevant Degree.Good understanding of SAP BW data models and architecture.Excellent working knowledge of Integrated Planning in SAP BW (BW-IP).Embedded BPC planning experience will be beneficial.Good working knowledge of SAP Analysis Office.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical skills.Good understanding of financial principles is essential.SAP ERP experience, preferably FI-CO, CO-PA, and SD modules.Ability to work as part of a team and independently.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.The Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
