Business Analyst

Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in the fields of data analysis, report creation, and Bl tools will be requiredKnowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis will be highly beneficialMust be proficiency in SGL Server scripting and database managementMust have an understanding of Python coding and experience using Visual Studio for development will be advantageousExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential for this roleMust have strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levelsThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Bl tools such as Jet Reports, Power Bl and Excel.Writing and optimising SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from SGL Server databases.Utilising Python coding skills within Visual Studio to automate processes, perform data analyses, and enhance reporting capabilities.Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirement and translate it into actionable insights.Conducting data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.Applying accounting principles and financial analysis techniques to interpret data and provide valuable insights.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
