Business Analyst

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 5 years' experience in the fields of data analysis, report creation, and Bl tools will be required Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis will be highly beneficial Must be proficiency in SGL Server scripting and database management Must have an understanding of Python coding and experience using Visual Studio for development will be advantageous Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role Must have strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels The successful candidate will be responsible for: Analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making. Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Bl tools such as Jet Reports, Power Bl and Excel. Writing and optimising SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from SGL Server databases. Utilising Python coding skills within Visual Studio to automate processes, perform data analyses, and enhance reporting capabilities. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirement and translate it into actionable insights. Conducting data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports. Applying accounting principles and financial analysis techniques to interpret data and provide valuable insights.
