Our client in the financial/banking sector is looking for a candidate for a 12 month fixed term contract.
Requirements:BDegree or equivalent (BCom Informatics, BSc Information Systems, BSc Informatics BTech)Diploma in Business AnalysisMinimum eight years experience in business analysis (advanced) of which at least 5 years must be in Information Technology.Solid exposure to Agile methodologySkilled in business process model's analysis, design and documentationBasic software applications (Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)Duties and Responsibilities:Build and Present Business Cases: Develop comprehensive business cases tailored to the organization's context and present them to executives for approval and support.Problem Analysis and Cost-Benefit Assessment: Define and articulate business problems by evaluating their size, impact, and associated costs versus benefits.Manage Complex Initiatives: Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple complex initiatives running in parallel.Proactive Delivery: Plan, prioritize, and execute responsibilities with advanced organizational skills as a proactive self-starter.Document and Update System Workflows: Collaborate with business teams to document and update system workflows, operating models, business processes, and business rules.Promote Agile Principles: Embed Agile methodologies and principles into the delivery of program artifacts.Create User Stories: Develop user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Business Owners and Product Owners.Validate Functional Requirements: Work with business teams to validate functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.Maintain Business Requirement Specifications: Update business requirement specifications as necessary to reflect evolving project needs.Act as Liaison: Serve as the bridge between business teams and the system vendor to ensure alignment and clear communication.Provide Ongoing Support: Offer continuous business analysis support to both the business and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.Update System Documentation: Work with business teams to update system manuals, user guides, and other vendor-required documentation.Collaborate on Solution Specifications: Partner with business customers and technical stakeholders to define system, process, and people requirements for solutions.Ensure Proper Implementation: Interact with architects and developers to confirm proper implementation of the system and monitor adherence to requirements.Monitor Solution Quality: Oversee the quality of deployed solutions, ensuring they meet defined business needs.Participate in User Acceptance Testing: Facilitate and participate in UAT processes to validate that deployed solutions meet business requirements.Manage Change Requirements: Handle evolving change requirements and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.Adapt to Additional Duties: Take on related duties or deliverables essential for the successful delivery of services
