LOCATION:JohannesburgOVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS JOB:The Business Analyst is accountable for the SALES reports nationally and data integrity for all new student sales for Capsicum Culinary Studio and IIE HSM. The Business Analyst is also responsible for development and automation of sales management data files and reports used within the brands, working with Advtech IT and external suppliers to this end, including Lead Management systems. The Business Analyst also identifies and comments on trends based on reports. KEY RESULT AREAS:REPORTS COMPILATIONPlans approach for consolidation of all manual and automated reports received nationally.Receives, stores and categorizes all campus weekly reports.Supports National Heads of departments and Campus Heads with report compilation and analysis.Consolidates all sales reports nationally SIMS system or any other sales data management.Runs manual reports and consolidates all information into comprehensive reports - weekly, monthly and annually for Sales Operations Manager and brands' leadership team.Consolidates all automated and manual reports to present an overall accurate marketing report.Responsible for and manages checks and reviews all sales statistics across campuses, identifies anomalies and rectifies in order to balance data across all platforms.Provides Sales Operations Manager with accurate, balanced, consolidated sales tracker.Attends sales call hosted by the Sales Operations Managers and supports the Sales Operations Managers and the Sales Advisors and Campus Heads with any data from the current week sales report or any historical data as required.SALES REPORTS - ANALYSISReviews consolidated marketing reports to identify potential sales trends and makes recommendations.Assesses all campus report anomalies and identifies trends and potential reporting training needs.Draws insights from reports and communicates trends and anomalies and makes recommendations to Sales Operations Manager regarding possible reasons and solutions for consideration.Works AIT or suppliers as necessary to identify issues within reports and systems that may compromise reporting accuracy or understanding.Draws insights from reports and communicates trends and anomalies and makes recommendations to Sales Operations Manager and MD.TRAINING, DATA INTEGRITY AND SYSTEM DATA MAINTENANCEManages accurate data integrity on a quarterly basis across all systems.Manages data in systems to ensure accuracy of data.Reviews campus reporting and manages anomalies to ensure accuracy.Reviews current report templates and recommends amendments as required.COMPETITOR ANALYSISConducts, in conjunction with Sales Operations Manager, Campus Heads and other Heads Of Departments , a complete competitor analysis on all relevant competitors in the market as required. Maintains a template and records for this. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of a Bachelors degree (Business, Commerce, Marketing, Information Systems, or Computer Science)COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Excellent attention to details and high level of accuracyStrong time management skills to manage and deliver on deadlinesGood communication and presentation skillsConfident to work independently and within a teamGreat interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilitiesEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 2 to 3 years professional work experience within the field of analytics and reporting.
