Are you someone who can: Have a fair understanding of the entity relationships within a database and how the various systems integrate with each other in an environment. Use Case skills. Compile process and data flow diagrams and Context diagrams. Provide possible solutions to business requirements creatively. Be an analytical thinker with problem-solving skills. Define user journeys. Research and define solutions best fit for the industry, customer, and aligned to group strategic objectives. Run with analysis and present findings to the business. Defend requirements and explain thinking. Understand how the requirements achieve business objectives tied to return on investment. Work unattended and meet strict timelines. You will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant Business Analyst experience. Hold a BCom or Industry Related Degree. Are familiar with Agile & Waterfall methodology. Possess the following Business Analysis Competencies: Presentation Skills. Information Gathering. Self-Starter – looks for opportunities. Team worker. Some leadership skills. Good writing skills. Conflict management skills. We can be a match if you can: Act as an interface between business, developers, and testers. Be empathetic yet diplomatic when dealing with concerns and conflicts from the business and/or team members. Listen, advise, and escalate issues where necessary. Conduct business analyses, i.e., planning, eliciting, documenting, and reviewing. Analyse projects using best practices. Conduct workshops or hold JAD sessions to gather requirements and drive workshops when necessary. Make decisions, think on your feet, and be proactive. Provide solutions or recommendations to the business when requirements are unclear, considering what would be best for the business. Prepare functional requirements specifications. Prepare business solutions specifications. Conduct enterprise analysis to identify opportunities, risks & assumptions. Perform stakeholder analysis to understand and identify the audience upfront. Assess, analyse, and optimise end-to-end business processes, documenting business process requirements through research, interviews, or facilitation sessions. Document all business rules impacting a project. Probe and gather information effectively. Create relevant analysis documentation, i.e., Business Specification and/or Functional Specification documentation using change control processes and version controls when required. Manage your own time to prioritise multiple projects. Provide feedback and guidance to more junior members of the team. Review test cases provided by the Test Analyst. Manage all Project analysis Documentation and ensure all sign-offs are achieved prior to work beginning on the project. Add business value. Take accountability for your own projects through to implementation, being actively involved from start to end of a project lifecycle.
