We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in business analysis and a solid understanding of project management principles.
This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, ensuring that projects align with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will also support project management activities, helping to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements, ensuring they meet overall business goals.
Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and recommend solutions that optimize business processes and service delivery.
Develop clear and detailed functional and technical specifications, including user stories, wireframes, and process flows, to guide the development team.
Serve as the main liaison between business units and the development team, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Participate in testing phases, ensuring that business requirements are accurately implemented in the final product.
Identify and document potential risks, dependencies, and gaps in requirements, and suggest actionable solutions.
Project Support:
Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with project managers and key stakeholders.
Support the creation and maintenance of project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Participate in project meetings and Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing insights from a business analysis perspective.
Monitor progress on assigned tasks, report any potential issues, and collaborate with project managers to resolve them.
Help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
ITSM Expertise: (Desirable but not essential, will be sent on courses if needed)
Provide insights on ITSM processes and best practices, ensuring that business needs are met effectively.
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to optimize ITSM processes and workflows.
Assist in customizing and configuring ITSM tools to meet specific business requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within ITSM, contributing to enhanced efficiency and service delivery.
Provide support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of ITSM tools.

Strong document creation and writing skills
Strong expertise in business analysis, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
Basic understanding of project management principles, with experience in supporting project planning and execution.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in participating in Agile teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MS Visio).
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in business analysis, with exposure to project management in software development or ITSM software implementation projects.
Proven experience in delivering successful ITSM projects or software development projects.
Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are desirable but not essential.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong documentation skills to effectively communicate and manage project requirements and business needs.
