Are you someone who can: Have a fair understanding of the entity relationships within a database and how the various systems integrate with each other in an environmentUse Case skillsCompile process and data flow diagrams and Context diagramsProvide possible solutions to business requirements creatively.Be an analytical thinker with problem-solving skillsDefine user journeysResearch and define solutions that are the best fit for the industry, customer, and aligned to group strategic objectivesRun with analysis and present thinking to the businessDefend requirements and explain thinkingUnderstand how the requirements achieve business objectives tied to return on investmentWork unattended and meet strict timelinesYou will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant Business Analyst experienceHold a Bcom or Industry Related DegreeAre familiar with Agile & Waterfall methodologyPossess the following Business Analysis Competencies:Presentation SkillsInformation GatheringSelf-Starter – looks for opportunitiesTeam workerSome leadership SkillsGood writing skillsConflict management skillsWe can be a match if you can: Act as an interface between business, developers, and the testers.Be empathetic yet diplomatic when dealing with concerns and conflict from the business and/or team members.Listen, advise, and escalate issues where necessaryConduct business analyses, i.e., planning, eliciting, documenting, and reviewingAnalyse projects using best practices.Facilitate workshops or hold JAD sessions to gather requirements and drive workshops when necessary.Make decisions, think on your feet, and be proactiveProvide solutions or recommendations to business when requirements are unclear, taking into account what would be best for the business. Be a future thinker, not just current solutions.Prepare functional requirements specificationsPrepare business solutions specificationsConduct enterprise analysis i.e., identify opportunities, risks & assumptions.Perform stakeholder analysis i.e., understand the audience and identify them upfront.Assess, analyse, and optimise end-to-end business processes signed off by the business by documenting business process requirements through research, interviews, or facilitation sessions, and assess current business processes, procedures, and business rules in conjunction with business partners, designing new & existing business processes.Document all business rules impacting a projectProbe and gather informationCreate the relevant analysis documentation i.e., Business Specification and/or Functional Specification documentation using change control processes and version controls when requiredManage your own time to prioritise multiple projectsProvide feedback and guidance to more junior members in the teamReview test cases provided by the Test AnalystManage all Project analysis Documentation and ensure all sign-offs are achieved prior to work beginning on the projectAdd business valueTake accountability for your own projects through to implementation.
