Are you someone who can: Have a fair understanding of the entity relationships within a database and how the various systems integrate with each other in an environmentUtilize Use Case skillsCompile process and data flow diagrams and context diagramsProvide creative solutions to business requirementsThink analytically and solve problemsDefine user journeysResearch and define solutions best fit for industry, customer, and aligned to group strategic objectivesRun with analysis and present findings to the businessDefend requirements and explain thinkingUnderstand how the requirements achieve business objectives tied to return on investmentWork independently and meet strict timelinesYou will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant Business Analyst experienceHold a BCom or Industry Related DegreeAre familiar with Agile & Waterfall methodologiesPossess the following Business Analysis Competencies:Presentation SkillsInformation GatheringSelf-Starter – looks for opportunitiesTeam workerSome leadership skillsGood writing skillsConflict management skillsWe can be a match if you can: Act as an interface between business, developers, and testersBe empathetic yet diplomatic when dealing with concerns and conflict from the business and/or team membersListen, advise, and escalate issues where necessaryConduct business analyses, i.e. planning, eliciting, documenting, and reviewingAnalyze projects using best practicesFacilitate workshops or hold JAD sessions to gather requirements and drive workshops when necessaryMake decisions, think on your feet, and be proactiveProvide solutions or recommendations to business when requirements are unclear, considering what would be best for the businessPrepare functional requirements specificationsPrepare business solutions specificationsConduct enterprise analysis, i.e. identify opportunities, risks & assumptionsPerform stakeholder analyses, i.e. understand the audience and identify them upfrontAssess, analyze, and optimize end-to-end business processes signed off by the business, documenting requirements through research, interviews, or facilitation sessionsDocument all business rules impacting a projectProbe and gather information effectivelyCreate relevant analysis documentation, i.e. Business Specification and/or Functional Specification documentation using change control processes and version controls when requiredManage your own time effectively to prioritize multiple projectsProvide feedback and guidance to more junior members of the teamReview test cases provided by the Test AnalystManage all Project analysis documentation and ensure all sign-offs are achieved prior to project initiationAdd business valueTake accountability for own projects through to implementation, being actively involved from start to end of a project lifecycleRun some initiatives as the BA and PM where applicable and necessaryAre you interested to take the step?
