Introduction Mintek has an exciting career opportunity for a Business Analyst. The incumbent will be responsible for creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business. This role includes processes of improving services through data analysis to support Mintek divisions, focusing on operational efficiencies such as improving the quality of business requirements and business cases. The Business Analyst will work closely with software/solution developers and business users in performing process analysis and system analysis within Mintek and other solution providers, acting as a key interface between business users, testers, project managers, and software developers in gathering information and documentation.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Business Relationship Management Business / Systems Analysis Operational Support BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Act as the liaison between business users, developers, and the project manager. Liaise with the business regarding requirements for new or improved functionality. Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Coordinate with stakeholders for agreement on the final design of solutions. BUSINESS / SYSTEM ANALYSIS Perform requirement analysis and support initiatives and projects. Analyze integration of systems requirements. Document and update procedures, processes, and system solutions. Conduct detailed analysis of new solutions and enhancements. Effectively communicate insights with cross-functional team members and management. Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports. Translate business requirements into user stories, functional requirements, and solution design. Ensure data and reporting needs are met. Identify and propose potential system improvements to ICT and Business. OPERATIONAL SUPPORT Design and coordinate ICT and business testing. Plan and coordinate the implementation phase. Support, train, and aid end-user adoption of systems and processes. Coordinate and manage production defects to closure. Stay up to date on the latest processes and ICT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Adhere to business analyst best practices and ICT governance to support business and ICT. Minimum Requirements Minimum Honours Degree in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, Informatics, or equivalent. 4 - 6 years minimum relevant experience in a related business support role or business analysis role.
