The main purpose of this role is to perform internal and external research and analysis in support of retail product development to ensure that Allan Gray's retail offering continues to meet client needs and complies with relevant legislation.
ResponsibilitiesIndependently, and within a team, execute market research, product development and initiative implementation, working collaboratively with business teams across Allan Gray.Support product-related client and adviser queries in a detailed, accurate and timely manner.Carry out other general analysis and research in support of strategic projects.Analysis, research and writing for internal discussion and/ or external publication.
RequirementsAbility to research, analyse, synthesise and present information in a manner that leads to effective decision-making and ensures good client outcomes.Attention to detail and conscientious.Operate independently as well as within a team.Strong organisational skills.Strong communication ability (both spoken and written).Logical problem-solving and desire and competence to solve complex problems, creating workable, sustainable solutions.Evidence of resilience, an inquisitive mind, determination and integrity.Strong numerical skills.Microsoft Office skills - including advanced MS Excel.
EducationBSc Engineering, BSc Computer Science, BSc Mathematics, or similar.Financial services experience advantageous but not a prerequisite.
LocationThis role is based in Cape Town.
