About the job Business AnalystBusiness Analyst Belville, Cape TownOur client, a giant in the retail industry, is looking for a Business Analyst to join the supply chain team in Belville, Cape Town.
This role is focused on data, information systems, and processes, with the main client being the internal Administration & Finance Department.Qualification / Experience:Degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or Logistics.FTI Qualification would be advantageous.Valid Drivers License with own transport.Minimum 3 years experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.Experience in finance, cost management, supply chain or transport would be advantageous.Responsibilities:Design, implement and support new administration and finance processes, systems, data, reports.Implement focused improvement initiatives of existing administration and finance processes, systems, data, reports.Drive focused improvement initiatives of cross-functional interactions within the organization.Implement, maintain and improve data sets used for various costing models (e.g.
transport cost models, export franchise models).Conduct detailed analysis of data requirements and cross-functional data impact of new initiatives (e.g.
new clients, services).Critically analyse data exceptions of existing processes and systems, providing support and corrective action.Support migration to Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform.Support migration to SAP.General Requirements:Team player.Strong communication skills.Able to maintain confidentiality.Stress tolerance.Planning, organizing, and control skills.Detail orientation.Problem assessment and service orientation.The position requires a highly disciplined self-starter that can work independently and within a team, under pressure and meet deadlines.
