Our primary activity is in the reselling of Pinewood Technologies DMS and is developing our value proposition to include other technology led products and services.As a Business Analyst, you will deliver a success driven results focused role fully satisfying key Motify stakeholders including customers, shareholders, management and employees. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that align with the company's goals. Your ability to assess data, communicate effectively, and foster relationships with stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:Finance:Data Analysis/Data Visualisation: Ability to work with large datasets, utilising tools like Excel and Power BI for presenting data insights visually, communicating findings and uncover trends/opportunities.Financial Analysis: Proficiency in analysing client profitability against budgets as well as generating forecasts to assist business development in their daily operations and support strategic decision-making.Evaluate data critically and make sound financial recommendations.Profitability forecasts: Financial forecasts of client accounts to ensure they align with financial business targets.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse the client account performance against budgets, profitability and ROI and provide insights on variances.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in forecasting & analysing the profitability of future projects and opportunities, while assisting customers to make informed decisions.Risk Management: Identify both internal and external risks and recommend strategies for mitigation/prevention. You will take on the role of being a liaison between business stakeholders, creating a culture of shared responsibility for risk management.Gathering, preparing, reviewing and analysing business and industry data, to deliver optimal overall shared results.Delivering on the data in a visual format.Develop business cases for customers.Process Improvement:Ensure that the business optimises its processes to allow teams to achieve their desired outcomes and derive maximum value from the products/services provided, while reducing costs.Identify areas for improvement in business processes and recommend solutions, with a keen eye for problem solving.Manage and maintain changing requirements utilising modern innovations along the way.Research to find technological advancements to modernise and streamline processes.Business Development:Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements and pain points.Create data visualisations and reports that convey insights in a way clients can understand and act upon.Monitor contract performance, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate meetings and workshops, capture detailed requirements and communicate findings and gather feedback.Reporting:Using effective and efficient data analytics and modelling to prepare reports to assist in improving inefficiencies.Prepare regular reports on contract status, renewal schedules, and business development activities.Data Collection: Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.Data Visualisation: Use visualisation tools to present data in a functional format.Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to management.Become a trusted advisor for internal teams, through providing data-driven recommendations and translating client needs that help shape business decisions (leading through to a scenario recommendation).Inherent Requirements of the Job:Bachelor's degree in business administration/Bachelor of Commerce/Information Systems.Client-Centric Approach: A clear focus on client satisfaction, going beyond project deliverables to add true business value.Adaptable and agile (strong change management capabilities).Experience in the Consulting (desirable).Strong relationship building capability.Proactive nature and accountability mindset: A proactive mindset, ensuring projects meet client expectations, budgets, and timelines.Change management capability.Strong Analytical, Detail-orientated & Problem-Solving capacity: having the ability to examine and resolve complex challenges, identifying patterns and opportunities.Strong communication and people skills: having the ability and confidence to deliver recommendations to diverse and strong-willed crowds.Business & Financial acumen: having the ability to delve deeply into our business to fully understand its nuances and intricacies.
