THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES WILL BE CONSIDERED: B Eng/BSc Degree/ B Tech advanced diploma in: Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering Analytical Chemistry Mine Survey Mining Engineering Instrumentation & Control WHAT THE BURSARY OFFERS: The comprehensive bursary will cover registration fees, tuition fees, residential fees, meals & personal expenses, a laptop, and textbooks. Practical work for bursary holders as prescribed by the institution of study. Exciting career prospects WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY: IN 2024, YOU ARE: Currently in Gr. 12 or Recently matriculated 1st– 4th year undergraduate YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON: June 2024 Gr. 12 results OR Gr. 12 final results 2024 latest results MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Mathematics & Physical Science (60%); English (60%); university acceptance letter 60% average; Proof of registration by University. NOTE: Applicants can only apply for one discipline. Applicants should comply with the minimum entry requirements as prescribed by the relevant universities. Bursary opportunities are only available to South African citizens. Nominated applicants will need to go through a selection process (including psychometric assessments, background screening and medical examinations). Successful candidates should be willing to be placed at any of Tronox Business Unit Operations on completion of studies. Applicants from the local communities surrounding the Namakwa Sands sites (Saldanha and Matzikama Municipalities) will be given preference.
