Building Manager Assistant

About the role:
Our client is seeking a Building Manager Assistant to assist the Body Corporate with daily activities. In this role you will provide support and be proactive by mitigating any risk. You will report directly to the Manager.
Location
Milpark – 2 Ixia Street, Milnerton
Compensation and Benefits:

R10 000 CTC gross monthly salary;
UIF;
PAYE;
Annual leave – 15 working days per annum.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Reduction;
Camera monitoring;
Patrols;
Access control – time based, Basement, Residential, Roof, Commercial;
Responding to complaints within the building;
Contacting Armed Response as needed;
Reporting on suspicious vehicles or activity in the building;
Occasional assistance with bin days;
Assisting with contractor access;
Putting up notices as required;
Report back on any maintenance issues they see (water leaks, building damage etc);
To be present when people move in or out of the building and report on any damage.

Skills and Qualifications:

English speaking, other languages a plus;
Matric;
Willing to take instruction;
Able to work independently.

Working Conditions:

Rotational Shifts: 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am (No shifts on 6am to 6pm Sundays)
You will be working in a team of three

Performance Expectation:

Adhere to weekly roster
Available to respond at all times to cellphone and walkie-talkie during shifts
