Building Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a confident, energetic, and multi-talented team player to join our maintenance team at Skyline Queenstown.
The Building Maintenance Technician role is responsible for ensuring all maintenance tasks are carried out in line with Health & Safety standards whilst prioritising quality guest service, supporting the Engineering and Grounds team, and assisting contractors with complex projects when required.
This role demands a high level of physical fitness and will involve work outdoors. No one day will be the same in this role, and the successful applicant will need to be flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
The perfect candidate will have/be:At least 2 years' experience in building maintenance.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Experience with working in an On Call capacity.Ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision.Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting, and HVAC systems knowledge.Administration skills to complete reports for maintenance schedules including building warrant of fitness and Fire control systems compliance forms.Proficient with computer systems and database management.Health, Safety, and Incident management experience/knowledge preferred.Luge cart maintenance and/or Engineering experience preferred.Full clean driving license.The Role Offers:$70,000 - $80,000 per annum with 40 hours per week guaranteed.A fun, diverse working environment including free Gondola, Mountain Bike passes and Luge rides for family and friends.A place in a dynamic, values-driven and growing global business.Join our Team:Our team thrives on meaningful connections with our customers, our community, and with each other.
