THE KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE:Continuous thermal and electrical performance assessment of the BIPVDevelop a model and EPDs inventory of the BIPV for energy-use intensity simulation and carbon footprint assessmentEnergy-use intensity and carbon footprint optimisation relative to sustainable building best practices and standardsUpscaling of optimised BIPV in the residential sector of South AfricaMINIMUMREQUIREMENTS:Doctoral degree in Physics (Building), Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering or related field obtained within the last 4 yearsA minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the abovementioned research areasA track record of publications in DHET accredited journalsEXPECTED OUTCOMES:Development of novel products and or processesA minimum of 4 publications in DHET accredited journalsCo-mentoring of postgraduate studentsAssist with teaching and learning in primary departmentAPPLICATION:
