JOB DESCRIPTION

Adhere to Quality and Safety requirements.
Good Housekeeping and Health and Safety
Reagent preparation when necessary.
Stock ordering
Report all malfunctions to the laboratory manager.
Decontamination of all equipment and bench tops.
Ensure that relevant protocols are followed.
Accountable for basic lab duties.
All admin duties within the laboratory
Ensure send away samples are sent out to referral labs.
Communicate with Doctors and clients
handle all add on tests

Requirements:

BSC degree or any Science related degree (Biochemistry, Microbiology or Molecular)
Good planning and attention to detail
Able to work Independently.
Computer literate (MS package)
Perform after hours, shift duties, weekend work and public holidays. (own transport)

Mthatha, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
