Broker Support Assistant

Job description:
The purpose of this position is to provide full support to the broker consultants.
Responsibilities:

Application of underwriting policy.
Compiling quotations with suggested rate or pricing on behalf of broker consultant.
Manage administrative documentation (detailed records).
Build and maintain good working relationships internal and external.
Recording details of transactions.
Handling broker queries verbal and written.
Ensure FAIS compliance.
Maintaining service level agreement deadlines.
Provide technical insurance knowledge input.
Administration of welcome packs to new brokers.
Organising of brokers consultants' diaries.
Distribution of month end reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

FAIS Compliant (Commercial) & RE5.
Matric certificate.
Minimum of 1-3 years' relevant commercial underwriting and/or sales support experience in the short-term insurance industry.
Technical Short-term insurance knowledge - Commercial.
