PURPOSE Responsible for underwriting processing and policy administration of all policies administered by Acuideas for its brokers in terms of service level agreements with various insurers and UMA's – this includes but is not limited to quotations, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, FNOL's as well as book take-on's and migration projects. To ensure all policies are serviced in accordance with Acuideas Standard Operating Procedures.

Technical Broking Obtain quotes from insurers on behalf of Acuideas brokersUpon acceptance of quote, ensure receipt of signed proposal instruction and debit order forms (where applicable)Send closing instruction to insurer to provide cover for clients of Acuideas brokersLoad client and policy information onto the system to activate policy.Send policy documents and invoices to Acuideas brokers.Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines.Attend to endorsements on existing policies and sending amended policy documents to Acuideas brokers2. Administration Attend to all quote requests, new business, amendments, renewals and cancellations in a timeous manner aligned to agreed SLA's and Acuideas Standard Operating ProcedureEnsure data integrity on all systemsAttend to general correspondence and e-mails to independent brokers according to company standardsAd hoc administrative functions3. Quotations Obtain full details regarding client risk required to quoteRequest quotes from insurersQuotes must be submitted to Acuideas brokers within SLA time-frames4.
