Bricklayer/Stonemason

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Stonemason to join our team. As a Stonemason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various types of stone, brick, and concrete materials.Duties:Lay bricks and stones to construct walls, arches, and other structures.Repair existing masonry work such as chimneys or walls.Cut and shape stones or bricks using hand tools or power tools.Mix mortar or grout and apply it to stones or bricks.Work on various projects including residential buildings, commercial properties, and historical restoration.Skills:Proficient in bricklaying and stonework.Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.Knowledge of welding techniques.Carpentry skills for framing structures.Familiarity with roofing methods.Strong understanding of masonry principles.Job Type: FreelancePay: £165.43-£180.81 per daySchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Bricklaying: 3 years (required)Masonry: 3 years (required)Licence/Certification:CSCS (preferred)Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 20/09/2024
