The candidate should have extensive experience in crop physiology, quantitative/statistical genetics, genome wide prediction methodology, in silico breeding, relevant genotyping technology, field research processes and data analytics.Comprehensive knowledge and applied research experience in plant genetics or plant breeding.Be proficient in utilizing and building software tools used for data analytics.Be strongly motivated by the desire to solve scientific questions by deeply analyzing phenotypic and genetic information and deliver tangible results in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Ability to work in an independent, self-directed manner with creative problem-solving skills and a drive for innovation.Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate experiments across projects and abilities to effectively share results across the organization.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and a proven ability to work well in a multicultural team environment.Excellent personal interaction skills required for effectively developing strong internal and external working relationships with a diverse group of people.
