What does a Brand Visual Merchandiser do? They grow market share and maximize sales through the development of seasonal VM initiatives which supports the VM strategy and take ownership of the brand to create a world-class shopping experience. They also formulate and draw store floor plans to create an appealing environment for the customers which optimizes space for sales.
Qualifications: Degree/Diploma: Graphic Design / Visual Merchandising or Fashion/Interior Design qualification. 3+ Years' experience in Visual Merchandising (including development of floor plans). Must have experience with: - Adobe Suite. - Merchandise cycle. - Understanding of Business Processes, Business Acumen, general retail/operations.
Responsibilities:
Merchandise Layouts & Presentations: Development and execution of merchandise layout and presentation within stores in support of both merchant and marketing strategies that are aligned to the Visual Merchandise strategy to drive sales growth.
Monthly Store Communication: Develop and enforce monthly communication guides relevant to each brand and subcategory to ensure 100% execution of Visual Merchandise strategy and monthly merchant plan to ensure consistency amongst stores.
Effective Planning & Implementation: Ensuring successful implementation of seasonal strategies through effective & efficient planning of all brand communications, store visits, store openings, training, research, and Visual Merchandise projects seasonally, monthly, weekly, and daily.
Creation & Development of Floor Plans: Create and draw floor plans and planograms from the start under the guidance and direction of your line manager for the stores. Assist with creating visual aids, on Illustrator, to support floor plans. Support the development of in-bay product presentation that simplifies the customer's shopping experience while maintaining store operating requirements.
Identify and Analyze Space: Determine size and configuration of all necessary categories, product display, and display fixtures to ensure the accuracy of planning. Identify potential space or planogram issues and provide recommended solutions.
Updating Floor Plans: Collaborate with Store Design, Procurement, and Projects Managers to ensure store plans are prepared and ready for new stores openings. Ensure that all floor plans are completed, including marketing. Update floor plans when needed or requested by Operations Managers.
