Job DescriptionThe brand champion and key accounts expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects. Plans, implements, and executes successful consumer and trade marketing programs, including brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, and advertising. Contributes to the annual brand planning process and brand planning calendar, coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables. Maintains good relations with key account stakeholders.QualificationsGrade 12Bachelor's degree in any related fieldResponsibilitiesReporting and Sales:Produce and distribute accurate monthly management reports to agreed time scales.Produce detailed quarterly cash flow forecasts to form the basis for the working capital request.Produce financial reports detailing actual expenditure against forecast to agreed timescales.Ensure data integrity of sales and timeous reporting.Lead the development of sales strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, fan conventions, and other vehicles.Utilize category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.Collaborate with the sales team for specific strategies for clients.Budget and Control:Timeous completion and locking of budgets, price lists, etc.Accountable for budget forecasts and to secure good cost management within own responsibility area.Conduct effective performance reviews.Ensure success rate on IR issues.Ensure staff demonstrate competency, increasing delivery capacity and motivation.Provide leadership and direction to motivate staff members.Conduct performance reviews with staff twice a year.Undertake personal development/career action plans for incumbents reporting to you.Desired Experience & QualificationMust have experience with South African retailers and contacts within the industry.Footwear or apparel background is paramount.Brand sales management experience is a must.Strong proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.5 years' experience in management or executive roles.Key initiative planning and execution.Consumer communication strategy, planning, and execution.Package & RemunerationR720,000.00 to R960,000.00 GrossInterested?A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
