We are looking for an innovative, detail orientated Brand Manager with a high level of financial acumen to take on the challenge of research and commercialization in our beverages portfolio.Line Manager: Senior Brand ManagerKey Performance Areas:Deliver performance targets for portfolio across all target brands Ongoing market and industry analysis to provide recommendations for brand developmentOngoing competitor intelligenceOngoing review of portfolio activity effectiveness to update or change plans as requiredBudgeting & forecastingDeliver local portfolio and brand strategy Insights from pulling together existing research, market trends (global & local), competitors and internal dataSWOT analysisConduct consumer and market research in order to keep up to date with consumer trends, as well as trying to predict future trendsPortfolio positioning – Identify how our brand is positioned in the marketDevelop brand plans/brand strategy for profitable company growthDevelopment of 3-year portfolio strategyDeliver consumer communication strategy Define and manage brand positioning and communication strategy using a variety of mediaPrepare/Review all promotional, advertising, media, research and R&D briefsParticipate in media strategy process, agreement & delivery of plansDevelop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at communicating our brand messageMaintain relationships (both internal and external partners)Monitor communication/promotional spendManagement of all New Product Development projectsDevelopment of commercial rational and justificationProject management of all new product development projectsWork with Research and Development (R&D) team and technical team to convert innovative business ideas into saleable productsProduct / packaging developmentImplement launch and launch support planParticipate in monthly marketing & NPD meetingsQualifications:A completed commercial qualification (Degree or Diploma) majoring in Marketing, Business Management or similarExperience:A minimum of 3 - 5 years' brand and marketing experience gained in an FMCG environmentKnowledge of IRI / Nielsen data requiredKnowledge:Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPointStrong focus on analytical skills (turning data into actionable insights)Knowledge of consumer, trader, customer, and shopperProject management knowledge or expertiseInnovation ManagementAdvertising experience from briefing to executionHigh levels of numeracyAbility to travel essentialSAP is advantageous
