As Brand Manager , you'll be the brand's custodian, ensuring consistency, integrity, and alignment with the company's corporate identity across all marketing initiatives and communications.
You'll work closely with Marketing Managers and in-country teams to inspire, challenge, and lead brand thought leadership while ensuring every touchpoint is impactful and relevant to the audience.
The key job responsibilities as the Brand Manager in Johannesburg will include: Brand Strategy: Develop and execute monthly brand campaigns with local teams, driving fresh ideas, analyzing competitors, and leveraging consumer insights to shape initiatives.
Creative Oversight: Ensure brand consistency in all creative assets, guiding teams to deliver impactful campaigns aligned with the company's identity.
Media & Sponsorships: Brief and oversee TTL media campaigns, maximize SOV/SOS, collaborate on sponsorship opportunities, and promote CSR initiatives.
Public Relations: Partner with in-country teams to plan PR strategies and manage agency deliverables to strengthen brand presence.
Events & Activations: Lead in identifying key event opportunities, managing trade activations, and partnering for local acquisition.
Budget Management: Consolidate and monitor the monthly marketing budget, ensuring efficient, goal-aligned spending across channels.
Requirements Requirements for this Brand Manager job in Johannesburg : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
3–5 years in marketing, with a strong understanding of brand management and the marketing mix.
Ability to think creatively, with a global brand viewpoint that drives expansion and growth.
Up-to-date with current marketing trends; experience in African markets is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal command of English, with strong relationship management abilities.
