The primary purpose of the Brand Manager (Direct To Consumer) position is to develop and integrate retail-led programs for the South African market that leverage local and global marketing initiatives to maximize local business growth, profitability, and consumer equity.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Drive Retail-led marketing campaign execution – product content & key messagingDevelop and maintain a high-level marketing activity calendar for FQ retail channel including Mainline Stores and EcommBuild demand generation plans for Stores, Online (SEO, SEM, Display, Email etc.) and CRM in collaboration with local and Regional partnersWork with key stakeholders to track ROI, traffic, acquisition, conversion, and retention - in-store and onlineCoordinate the development, sourcing, production, tracking, and delivery of all marketing and retail-related tools against set timelinesDrive PR for key messagingSocial media management – planning oversight for owned channels and leasing partners social channelsDaily point of contact with 3rd party agenciesReporting – Monthly Business Reviews, Campaigns Reviews, Quarterly Business ReviewsHaus – assist with program support with key stakeholdersAssist with influencer seedingAssist with consumer eventsChannel budget managementRetail Store Opening marketing supportReporting RelationshipsThe Brand Manager DTC is accountable to the Head of Marketing and will liaise extensively with:Trade/Channel ManagerAssistant Brand ManagerRetail LeadDistrict ManagersBrand Environment Manager RetailStore Managers and StylistsMerchantsRetail PlanningAgency partnersMall Marketing partnersTechnical CompetenciesStrategic thinker with strong analytical capabilityExcellent execution and attention to detailRetail marketing & Ecommerce experienceOutstanding organization and time management skillsDigitally proficientBudget managementProblem-solving skills and a sense of urgency with decision makingAccountability for the results and the drive for mutual successEffective interpersonal skillsQualificationsTertiary qualified in a relevant degree – Marketing or Business ManagementStrong understanding of digital marketingExtensive knowledge of CRM & EcommerceExperience of 3+ years in a similar positionStrong written and verbal skillsTeam player
