BRANCH MANAGER (PLANT EQUIPMENT)/PORT ELIZABETH - Our Client a Leader in the distribution of construction and forklift equipment is recruiting for a Branch Manager with strong knowledge in the Forklift Industry and well as a technical background/ trade certificatePURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Ensuring achievement of branch performance imperatives across all business areas. Setting of targets across different revenue streams, ensuring organisational alignment i.r.o. achieving said targets. This includes resource allocation, and supporting relevant staff in achieving departmental performance imperatives. A strong focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering effective supplier and other third-party relationships. Ensuring all administrative processes and procedures are adhered to, and relevant authorisations are in check. Offering operational support where required.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSTechnical qualification, People Management, Financial Management, or Marketing and Sales Certifications (advantageous)Minimum of 5 years' experience in People Management, Sales and Parts Management, General Management, and technical knowledge (forklift, Operations and Maintenance)Administratively strong, with financial interpretation aptitudeHigh level of problem-solving ability3 years Workshop, Parts, or well rounded electrical, mechanical, parts, and hydraulic experience (Advantageous) KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's)Ensure achievement of Targets in line with Budget requirements: Manage daily Sales, including Rental, Parts and Service targets vs actual performance, reacting timeously to any identified problems.Manage and facilitate Work in Progress: Manage and facilitate all Work in Progress (WIP) by continuously monitoring the status of ongoing tasks ie. open jobs, accurate processing of warranty claims to ensure claim fitness etc.Branch Management: Continuously monitor and analyse branch financial performance, revenue, expense and optimize profitability. Implement cost-effective strategies and identify and address any deviations promptly.Effective Staff Management: Ensure effective staff training, mentoring, coaching and management of staff within the branchCustomer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
