Understand the customer's needs and provide the right product. Continuously update customers on new or changed products. Validate client details per product and regulatory requirements. Conduct due diligence on clients to identify risks. Manage own capacity to prioritize daily appointments.In-branch client service and client retentionService and manage all client profiles to ensure retention. Send payment reminders and conduct follow-ups. Manage persistency of client payments. Gain insight into client risk profiles. Consult with clients on alternative payment arrangements. Resolve client queries or escalate as necessary.Quality, compliance and continuous developmentAdhere to compliance and quality standards. Keep up to date with registration and product knowledge. Identify risks and flag potentially fraudulent activities. Log all activities as per regulations.Monthly planning and reportingReport daily activities using relevant technology. Collate data for weekly and monthly reporting. Perform ad-hoc requirements as requested by the Retail Branch Manager.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEKnowledge:Client service, sales tactics, knowledge of the insurance landscape, and products.Experience:One year in a sales or marketing capacity; experience within insurance branches is an advantage.SKILLS & COMPETENCIESTarget-focused, analytical, technologically oriented, strong selling and influencing skills, critical thinking, strong communicator, customer service orientation, organizing skills, adaptable.QUALIFICATIONSMatric (Grade 12), RE5, FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management), Class of Business training (to be completed within 12 months).CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTClear criminal and credit check, own/reliable transport.The Sanlam Group is committed to achieving transformation and embraces diversity.
