Piekenierskloof Wines, situated in Citrusdal, has an exciting opportunity for a Bottling & Logistics Manager with strong planning & organisational skills. The incumbent will report to the Cellar Master and primarily be responsible for the development and/or creation, implementation, execution, and management of all activities relating to dry goods, bottling and logistical functions, including stock control of warehouses. Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Exporting of wine (bulk & bottle): handling export orders, export & exemption certificates; liaising with freight forwarders, clients, & internal departments, etc. Bottling of wine: collaborating with Cellar Master on bottling stock & needs, purchasing stock, scheduling bottling runs, compilation of production schedule and ensuring adherence, liaising with clients on packaging material (own branded labels/cartons), visiting bottling plants during production, liaising with Winemaker on approval of analysis, managing & coordinating reworks, etc.Stock control of bottled wine and dry goods: Conducting month-end stock counts, sending stock reports to clients, transferring stock between warehouses, determining needs for production runs, creating stock reports for production meetings. Quality control: Overseeing quality control of bottling and labelling of wine, dry goods, and bottled products. Administration: SAWIS applications, WineOnline export applications, EzyWine All other tasks related to the role. Essential minimum qualifications, skills and experience: Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous; 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in the wine industry; Knowledge of SAWIS and compliance regulations; Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, Ezy Wine, & WineOnline); Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); Valid drivers license & own reliable transport.
