Outsourced CFO is looking for a POD Manager who is a strategic and client-focused member of our client services team, working from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm South African time to align with this USA based client.
This role is crucial in driving the growth of our business by creating an exceptional customer experience.
The POD Manager will oversee client onboarding, training, and support while ensuring smooth communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, this position will track client progress, satisfaction, and the effectiveness of client engagements.Job responsibilities will include, among other:Client Account Management: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, providing an exceptional customer experience and fostering strong client relationships.Team Leadership: Supervise a team of bookkeepers, assisting them with the month-end process and ensuring high-quality deliverables.Financial Reporting: Finalize client P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements after the bookkeepers' review.Client Education: Continuously educate clients on the value of our services, sharing best practices through periodic progress reviews and effective presentations.Client Support: Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.Process Improvement: Support the Head of Client Services in implementing and documenting internal processes, providing suggestions for improvement.Client Touchpoints: Conduct weekly touch-base calls with clients to maintain strong relationships and gather feedback.Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between clients and internal resources, managing the logistics of recurring meetings with bookkeepers and profit coaches.Resource Planning: Assess and project additional resources needed to support clients as they scale, facilitating resource planning and alignment.Service Effectiveness: Track the volume of client transactions, KPIs, and other pertinent metrics to report to the Head of Client Services.Progress Tracking: Track and report on client goals and satisfaction to maximize retention and referral objectives.Client Testimonials: Identify targets for client testimonials and case studies to showcase our success.Overflow Bookkeeping: Assist the bookkeeping team in daily transactional bookkeeping, month-end job costing, and balance sheet reconciliations throughout the month as needed.Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the executive team.The ideal candidate for this position will hold the CA(SA) or SAIPA or AGA(SA) or similar professional qualifications.
