We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / ManagementAccountant to join our finance team based in the UK. This role will involve maintaining accurate financialrecords, preparing management reports, and supporting the financial decision-making process. Our idealcandidate must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in bothbookkeeping and management accounting.Key Responsibilities:-Daily bookkeeping in Xero accounting software to include processing invoices and performingbank reconciliations.-Reviewing bookkeeping prepared by junior members of the team-Reconciliations of control accounts-Posting monthly wages journals-Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard-Preparing and filing monthly and quarterly VAT returns under all types of VAT schemes-Preparing and filing monthly CIS returns-Liaising with clients on queries and submissions-Attending client premises, where necessary, to undertake bookkeeping on site-Providing training to clients on Xero-Other ad-hoc dutiesDesired Skills and Experience:-Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and/or Management Accountant.-Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.-Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.-Strong communication skills.-Familiarity with the UK financial regulations and compliance standards.-Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.-Strong organizational and time-management skills.Benefits:-Competitive salary-Discretionary annual bonus-Annual leave ( excluding bank holidays)-Flexible HoursIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to a dynamic finance team,we encourage you to apply for the Bookkeeper / Management Accountant position.
