National group are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with three to five years expereince and a Bookkeeping or tertiary finance qualification.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCashbook capturingDaily/monthly Bank reconsPreparation and capturing of General Ledger journalsAssisting in preparation of management accountsAssisting in preparation of annual budgetsAssistance with internal/external auditorsPreparation of Balance sheet reconsPreparation of Vat workings and returnsMaintaining and updating of fixed assets registerAssistance with Debtors and Creditors dutiesGeneral administration and filingDesired Experience & QualificationGrade 12 (With Mathematics & Accounting as subjects)Tertiary Bookkeeping/Finance qualificationMinimum 3-5 years bookkeeping/finance experience (up to balance sheet)Knowledge of Accounting software packagesStrong MS Office skillsAbility to work under pressure and according to tight deadlinesHave excellent documentation and communication skillsAttention to Detail and high level of accuracyOffice hours: Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00Package & RemunerationR20,000 per month (total cost to company)
