Bookkeeper/ Junior Accountant

Based in Stellenbosch:Responsibilities include: Responsibilities will include the following:Performing bookkeeping duties such as recording, posting and processing day to day financial transactions and to perform related reconciliationsMaintain and update control sheetsAssist in preparing monthly billing for tenants and sending itProcessing of credit cards and petty cashAssist the Accounting Manager in preparing VAT calculation packsProcessing to Trial balanceAssist with month end closing proceduresGeneral admin tasks relating to the departmentCandidate RequirementsSkills RequiredAnalyticalWorks well under pressureStrong Communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listeningInterpersonal communication skillsSolid understanding of bookkeeping and account payable principalsComputer skills including the ability to operate computerised accounting spreadsheets in Excel and the ability to work on MDA will be highly recommended.
