R25 – 30 000 CTC per month

Seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to Trial Balance to join our dynamic team in the events and travel industry on a 3-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover. This role offers the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate must be Xero Certified and be able to start immediately.
Minimum Requirements: 3 to 5 years experience as a Bookkeeper to Trial BalanceCertified in Xero accounting softwareStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust have a dedicated office space to work from homeImmediate availability and commitment to the position for the next 3 to 6 months Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recordedProcess accounts payable and receivablePerform bank reconciliationsPrepare and maintain the trial balanceManage invoicing and debt collectionHandle VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulationsProvide financial reports as required by managementCapture and process debtorsCollaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesAssist with any other accounting-related tasks as needed Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
