Bookkeeper

One of the largest rental companies is currently seeking a Bookkeeper. The main focus for the Bookkeeper is to maintain accurate financial records for an organization. This includes tasks such as recording daily transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. As the Bookkeeper , you will be responsible for the following: Daily and month-end journal entries Daily completion of bank reconciliations Ensure accurate processing of all creditors' invoices Load payments on Nedbank in line with finance approval mandates Process inter-company payments Manage fixed asset transactions Maintain 100% accuracy in capturing data in the general ledgers Finalize monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and provide them to the accountant when actuals are due Clear all reconciling items in the general ledgers before month-end Submit monthly management accounts to all branches Conduct monthly variance analysis between the general ledger and budget within deadlines Provide daily cash flow submissions Assist debtors and creditors as needed Support all branches with relevant inquiries Qualifications: Completed Matric 3 years relevant bookkeeping to trial balance experience Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification Sage X3 is preferred If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
