Join my client's dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and play a crucial role in their financial operations They are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about numbers and accuracy to fill this essential position. This role is based in Wadeville, Johannesburg East. Key Responsibilities: Creditors Management: Assist in processing invoices and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely payments. Debtors Management: Handle invoice processing and actively pursue monthly invoice recoveries, supporting the full function of debtors management. Month-end Processes: Contribute to limited-month processes to ensure smooth financial closings. Year-End Audit Support: Assist in preparing audit files to facilitate year-end audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Costing and Control: Maintain costing records and contribute to cost control measures, ensuring optimal financial management. Payment Processing: Prepare payment lists and requisitions accurately and on time. Tax and VAT Assistance: Provide limited support in income tax and VAT submissions to comply with regulatory requirements. Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake various ad hoc financial tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance team. Skills and Qualifications: Diploma or BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance. 2 years proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel. Sage X3 would be advantageous.
