Key Responsibilities : Maintain accurate financial records , including day-to-day transactions, sales, purchases, and payments. Reconcile bank statements and balance general ledger accounts . Process invoices , payments , and receipts . Prepare financial reports , including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Assist with month-end closing and prepare monthly financial reports. Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and assist with VAT submissions . Collaborate with the finance team and external auditors when required. Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documentation. Requirements : Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting . Familiarity with VAT and tax regulations . Strong numeracy and analytical skills . Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Certification in bookkeeping or a related field (preferred).
