Bookkeeper

Job Title: Bookkeeper


Location: Centurion


Key Responsibilities:

Perform monthly bookkeeping and maintain filing of finance-related documents
Prepare VAT reports and reconciliations, including VAT 201s, EMP201s, and EMP501s
Conduct general ledger reconciliations and manage payroll administration
Maintain fixed asset register and reconcile bank accounts
Process accounts receivable and payable
Assist with ad-hoc functions as required
Identify areas for improvement to meet business needs
Work closely with the Financial Manager to implement processes that minimize human error


Qualifications

Certificate/Diploma in Finance or related field
3 years of bookkeeping experience (advantageous)
Knowledge of Quickbooks, SAGE, and Xero Accounting packages (advantageous)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and initiative
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate
