Bookkeeper

Requirements:Associates degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in the construction industryProficiency in BuildSmart is essentialAdvanced Excel skills, including data entry, formulas, and basic data analysisBookkeeping certification preferredUnderstanding of financial regulations and standards within the construction industryStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic duties include, but are not limited to:Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliationsAccounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collectionsPayroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulationsExpense Tracking: Track and record all project-related expenses, ensuring proper allocation and documentationFinancial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and statements for managementBank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial recordsSoftware Utilization: Utilize BuildSmart for bookkeeping and financial management tasksExcel Proficiency: Create and manage spreadsheets for data entry, analysis, and reporting
