Your expertise in accounting, preferably within the hospitality or leasing industry, will ensure that accounts are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities: Accounting Operations: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Financial Closes: Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Collaboration: Maintain relationships with staff to gather timely and accurate information.
Compliance: Stay updated with accounting regulations and implement necessary updates.
Financial Support: Provide guidance to other departments to drive growth and profitability.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Prepare financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
Support Functions: Assist the Finance Accountant and Management with various tasks and general ad-hoc duties.
Qualifications & Skills: Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting (non-negotiable).
Experience: 2+ years in a similar role; hospitality or short-term letting experience preferred.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous.
Certifications: SAIPA qualification is preferred.
Traits: Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and efficient.
Team Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills; works well in a team and with executives.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, Office) and Google Chrome Suite (Google Sheets, etc.).
