Bookkeeper - George

Our client an accountancy firm based in George is currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team Key responsibilities: Payroll processing SARS EMP201 and EMP501 submissions Processing tax invoices for suppliers and customers Processing and reconciling cashbooks (bank recons) Reconciling to supplier and customer statements SARS e-filing equipped VAT reconciliation and returns Able to compile Annual Financial Statement on CaseWare Assist with VAT reviews on SARS Processing of journals and process up to a final trial balance Experience/Qualifications: A degree/diploma would be advantageous 5 + years in an auditors/accounting firm A good communicator (written and verbal skills) Dynamic and motivated Able to work on their own and/or in a team Fast learner Computer literate: Pastel partner and sage one.Additional programs will be of an advantage.
