An exciting career opportunity to join their professional team currently exists.The incumbent will be responsible for performing accounting duties and financial administration for various clients.Specific tasks will include:Capturing transactions on Pastel / SageDebtors and creditors reconciliationsMonthly salary processing (VIP)E-filing (VAT, PAYE, tax returns)Compiling monthly management accountsDaily reporting to ManagementPreparation of financial statements (Caseware)Requirements for the ideal candidate:Appropriate tertiary qualification (degree is not a requirement)Practical experience in a similar position (accounting firm experience will be beneficial)Above average computer skills (Pastel, Sage, Caseware, E-filing & Excel)Excellent communicator (Afrikaans and English) with exceptional interpersonal skillsGood planning and organisational skillsAccurate and works with precisionShows initiative and can function independently
