Bookeeper

A vacancy currently exists for an enthusiastic Bookkeeper at Head Office- Mount Edgecombe The key responsibility areas for this position are: - · Unidentified debtors and creditors payment on bank statement liaise with bank.
· Preparation of daily cash flow.
· Download daily bank statements for the debtors department and cash sales clerks.
· Preparation of debit and credit card sales.
· Ensure the daily receipt and payments are updated in the cash book and discrepancies are rectified and manually updated.
· Reconciliation of cash sales.
· Maintaining of fixed asset register on SYSPRO Applicants should have the following credentials: - · Grade 12 and preferably a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping.
· Computer literate knowledge of the Syspro system would be an added advantage.
· Be conscientious and diligent.
· Have more than 3 years experience in administration.
· Must have demonstrable experience in working with a cash book.
