Boilermaker/Piping Team Lead (Project Based)3C Metal Belmet is looking for a Boilermaker/Piping Team Lead for two of our upcoming projects.Job PurposeLead, Coordinate and Supervise a Piping/Boilermaking Team, in such a manner that all company, quality, safety and client specifications are adhered to.DutiesAllocation of Pipe Fitters, Boilermakers & other Team members to tasks.Monitor Production & Fit up/fabrication progress, Maintain Quality and productivity of Team members.Report to Management any production related and non-conformance issues.Estimate the time to be allocated to specific jobs and monitor this accordingly.Trouble Shoot defects in conjunction with Quality and other team members, and report on possible causes and solutions to Management.Assign tasks and targets to personnel on site in close coordination with management. (Subject to the workload, project and company requirements).Assign personnel (depending on their qualifications, abilities and experience) to the project in close coordination with the Workshop Supervisor to meet deadlines of ongoing projects.ProfileRequirementsArtisan or related Qualification. (Pipe Fitting/Boilermaking Red Seal)Proven Track record in working as Artisan & moving up to become a Team leader/Supervisor in Engineering or related companies (Welding, Pipe fitting)Supervisory Training advantageousAbility to lead by example and perform Artisan tasks.HIRA/Supervisory Training advantageousCountrySouth AfricaLocationCape TownMinimum level of education requiredTechnical qualifications / Industrial Training InstituteMinimum level of experience required6-10 yearsReference2024-200
