South African citizens or permanent residence within South Africa only.Minimum Std 8Boiler Operator CertificateGood command of English languageMinimum 2 years experience operating BoilersMechanical aptitude Coal fired boilers10 Ton Boilers Blow down Mowbray 2 times a dayLog steam pressure hourlyTest water for softness and TDSsEnsure that all water chemicals and peripheral equipment is in order and operatingLiaise closely with the cannery and growers on steam demandKeep boilers clean and tidy all the timeTo work in the workshop every 4th week (day shift)Daily grease to all relevant equipmentRemove ash as and when requiredTo work shifts as communicated to youAny other duties as and when required by the manager Interpersonal and communication skillsHardworking and have a hands-on approachInitiative and high levels of energyR3500 and R5000 biweekly.
