Boiler Manager, Kzn

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Management, or related fieldMay accept a combination of relevant experience and technical diplomas or certificatesSpecialized training or coursework in boiler systems, thermodynamics, or power plant operations beneficial5+ years experience in boiler operations together with managerial / supervisory roleThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Monitor boiler systemsManage and adjust control systemsPlan/oversee routine maintenanceIdentify and resolve mechanical issues and operational problemsEnsure regulatory complianceDevelop / enforce safety procedures and protocolsSchedule and manage inspectionsOversee the work of boiler operators and maintenance staff, including training and evaluationCreate / manage work schedulesMaintain accurate records of maintenance activitiesPrepare reports on boiler performance and maintenance activitiesManage budget for boiler operations and maintenanceImplement costs-saving measuresMonitor / analyze boiler efficiencyEvaluate / recommend upgrades or replacement of equipmentIncident management and liaising with other departments Salary: Market related
